Our Story

It starts with a $5-or-less thrift store.

We Not Me Farms Ministries Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation (EIN 41-2439433) and a Christian community ministry based in Panacea, Florida. Our first project is Store #1: a community thrift store in Crawfordville, Florida, where every item is priced at $5 or less.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is not just a tagline. It is the design of every part of the model. The store gives donated clothing, furniture, household goods, tools, and small appliances a second life, and the $5-or-less pricing keeps those goods affordable for the working families, seniors, and veterans who need them most. EVERY ITEM. EVERY DAY. $5 OR LESS.

A foundation for a much larger vision

Store #1 is the beginning, not the destination. The store is meant to generate sustainable ministry revenue that helps build the larger We Not Me Farms vision: chemical-free farms, food programs, recycling and stewardship, affordable auto and truck repair, practical-skills training, and a network of $5-or-less locations that build capacity to help after disasters.

The model is simple. People help the ministry. The ministry builds sustainable programs. Those programs generate resources. Those resources help more people, and the network grows one community at a time.

How the model works

Donate → Reuse → Everything $5 or less → Affordable goods → Sustainable ministry revenue → Future farms, food, community service, and disaster-relief capacity.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every $5 item sold is a step in the same direction. Store #1 is the proof of the model: that a $5-or-less thrift store can serve families while generating steady support for the wider ministry.

Why "We Not Me"?

Because none of this works if it is about one person. It takes farmers, mechanics, churches, businesses, volunteers, donors, neighbors, and people willing to share their knowledge, time, equipment, resources, and faith.

We are building something we hope will outlive any one of us: community stores, farms, and programs that serve people, create opportunity, steward resources responsibly, and show what can happen when we choose to work together. One store can serve a community. A network can serve a country.

Built one community at a time

Right now our community is Wakulla County, Florida. Before we expand to other towns, we want Store #1 open in Crawfordville, the $25,000 launch goal met, and the model proven on the ground. Every gift brings closer the day when the next community can join the network.

Be part of the story

We invite individuals, churches, businesses, farmers, tradespeople, and community organizations to help build this mission through prayer, financial gifts, merchandise drives, equipment donations, volunteer time, professional skills, or simply by sharing our story.
